The Creature Steals Your Soul…

She walks the streets at night, lonely but powerful. Powerful because she has the right, the right to take and to make with it whatever should please her. She is the essence of life, and though, she brings with her the result of death. She is dark. She is an angel. A sorceress. Her bewitching eyes lures their focus away from the message so blatantly written across her lips. She lusts after the power of death. She walks.

She has a lair, a port of call, where she takes her prey to feast. It is old, empty, emotionless, and yet filled with the energy she drains with every life she takes. It screams of the loneliness in her soul, but she inhabits the space, powerful, omnipotent, the creator of her own freedom. Her own ambition. She prays on their life force. She drains them.

The space is eerie, light. A clear contradiction of the suffering it sees. The suffering it sustains. The suffering it breathes. It tells the story of what it was, happiness and light. Contentment. But it screams of the contradiction of its former glory that it now takes in with every visit. It never sees the same visitor twice, because a visitor never leaves. Every visitor is engulfed in this space. Engulfed by her ambition. Her need to feast. Her need to eat.

She is dark. She is an angel. She is everything she wants, and she gets her every desire.

She is The Creature.
